Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  After the Water Taxi drops us off at our first destination, When does it return?

A:  The Water Taxi returns in approximately one hour.  For exact times, please see the schedule listed under the "services" link to your left.


Q:  Does the Water Taxi run on time?

A:  Generally, yes.  The Water Taxi does its best to adhere to the schedule, but safety is paramount.  The Water Taxi will do everything we can to keep to the schedule, but not at the expense of safety.


Q:  When we want to return, do we have to pay again?

A:  No.  The ticket you purchase is good all day/evening.  You can visit unlimited destinations as frequently as you wish for the entire day.


Q:  How do we get back to our car when we are ready to leave?

A:  Simply board the Water Taxi when it arrives and get off at the stop where you parked your car.


Q:  Does the Water Taxi sell beer, wine, or cocktails?

A:  Yes.  We sell domestic and imported beers, premium wines, and mixed cocktails.  $4.00 domestic, $5.00 import, and $5.00 premium wines and cocktails are available.


Q:  Can we bring our own alcoholic beverages?

A:  Unfortunately, no.  New Jersey state law prohibits bringing your own alcoholic beverages onto the Water Taxi.


Q:  Can we take our alcoholic beverage with us when we leave the Water Taxi?

A:  No.  New Jersey state law prohibits taking alcoholic beverages from the Water Taxi when you leave.


Q:  Does the Manasquan Water Taxi serve food?

A:  Yes.  Hot dogs, sandwiches, and subs are available for purchase.  A snack and refreshment bar is also available for a nominal charge.
